ARRIVAL: We have 3 carlines available to our parents:
8th grade carline (gymnasium entrance) is open to students at 7:30A.M.
7th grade carline (front of building) is open to students at 7:30A.M.
6th grade carline (right side of building) is open to students at 7:30A.M.
DISMISSAL:
Students who ride in cars and daycare vans will be dismissed at 3:35 PM. Sixth grade car riders will be dismissed from the 6th grade carline located to the right of the school. Seventh grade students will be dismissed from the 7th grade carline located in the front of the building. 8th grade will be dismissed from the gymnasium entrance.

Students read books and compete in a quiz bowl format against other middle schools in our district. Students who are interested can sign an interest form on the media center page of the school website. This is a 5 member TEAM so students will be chosen for it.
Beta Club
Junior Beta Club Sponsors: Mrs. Flud and Mrs. Rowell
The National Beta Club strives to develop four main qualities in students: achievement, character, leadership, and service. Students must be invited to join, and invitations are sent out to qualifying sixth grade students at the end of the first quarter. Requirements for student admittance will be available at a later date.
Creative Writing
Creative Writing Club
Sponsors: Mrs. Grant and Mr. Noble
The Creative Writing Club is open to students interested in writing poetry, prose, plays, song lyrics, graphic novels, and other genres. The purpose of the Creative Writing Club is to provide a positive and productive atmosphere for developing student writers to integrate, learn, and grow. In addition, the organization will teach students to harness creativity effectively with a variety of different contests or workshops and exercises to benefit an individual's skill and competence as a writer. The Creative Writing Club's secondary purpose is to provide a focused forum in which students can build a professional writing resume. We will meet the 1st and 3rd Monday each month from 3:45 - 4:30 beginning September 20th.
Environmental Club
The Environmental Club spearheads the recycling effort at school.

FBLA Club
Furture Business Leaders of America

Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA)-ML introduces and prepares students to the world of business. It is the largest business Career and Technical Organization in the world. Students will have an opportunity to explore a range of career skills as well as project-based learning experiences connected to business educational programs. Meeting time TBA.

Pep Club

The mission of the Pep Club is to support our sports teams by showing school spirit and sportsmanship. Our purpose is to show pride in our school and unify our athletes, student body, faculty and staff. Students must be energetic, outgoing, and willing to promote school spirit. Pep club will be responsible for helping organize/make:

Students will research South and Central American countries, culture, food and important aspects of each country.
We will take a virtual trip to North America, Mexico, its culture, traditions and food.

We will begin with students collecting information packets the week of September 13th. Campaigning the week of September 20th. Elections the week of September 27th.

Ukulions club will meet on Tuesday mornings from 7:30-8 for students who are intermediate and already know how to play.
Thursday mornings from 7:30-8 are for students who are new to playing.
First come first serve basis with a limit of 30 students. Please bring your own ukulele. Students need to see Dr. Kirven for sign up
You've Been Diced Club

We will meet the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month from 345-4:30 pm beginning September 16h.
The Diced Club is open to 15 students selected from applications. They will bring science into the kitchen by including chemistry skills during food competitions that will be judged by community members invited to the final competition.
