Description

Sculpture class is an exploration of the world of 3D art. Eighth grade students will work with their hands in order to create three dimensional projects out of different types of materials including clay, cardboard and more. 

Art 2 allows students to explore art through both the 2D and 3D process. We will build on the fundamentals of the Elements of Art and Principles of Design. Seventh grade students will learn about value, color and more while also having the opportunity to build with their hands. 

Sixth Grade Art helps prepare for the rest of our Visual Art Program. Students will build a good foundation of art by learning about the Elements of Art and Principles of Design. We will work with 2D and 3D projects to get students started and excited about art.

All art classes include learning how art ties into other subjects such as Science, History, Math and ELA.
