Visual Arts

The John W. Moore Middle School Visual Arts program offers classes a wide variety of Visual Arts classes for exploration.  The classes include Art 6, Intro to Art, Art 2, Pottery, Sculpture,  Broadcasting, Publication, Media Arts, and Digital Arts classes. In each class,  students will be exposed to a variety of art-making practices, techniques, and media as well as the historical and cultural impacts art has on their lives.  Finding their own niche is a priority in the Visual Arts department of JW Moore Middle School.

The Visual Arts Department sponsors a chapter of the National Junior Art Honor Society which is for serious art students by invitation and portfolio tryouts.
